The purpose is to find out what the residents' needs are, what they want, and what they'd like to see in the facility.

Resident Council

We have a special Resident Council which allows residents to voice their opinions about the care center community they live in. It is closed-doors and is by invitation only to be able to attend. There’s a president and vice-president with elections annually.

Resident Council meetings occur once a month and the main purpose is to find out patients' needs and desires so everyone feels heard — and also so patients feel at home.

Even though the meetings serve a very important purpose of making sure voices of patients are heard, it also serves as a fun social activity.
